    Heidi Peters, RN-C/ANP
    Heidi Peters, CRNP, has been in practice with Steven Fine, MD since 1994. Her interest in gastroenterology dates back to her early years as a staff nurse at Tufts New England Medical center, working in the medical ICU. After obtaining her Master's Degree as a nurse practitioner from Columbia University she began her career with the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University and spent 13 years as nurse practitioner for the Metabolic Research Unit. As part of Greater Boston Gastroenterology, PC, Ms. Peters' areas of interest include Celiac Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Hepatitis C Management and General Gastroenterology disorders. As a nurse practitioner Ms. Peters is able to practice in an expanded role and see patients both urgently and on a scheduled basis. Patient education is strongly emphasized.
